A musical journey bringing together Western and Eastern cultures through the mystery of existence, Journey of Endless Time was made to celebrate friendship between East  Asia and the West and reflect on their common destiny in the history of the universe.

The film had its world premiere at China Science and Technology Museum as part of the Beijing International Film Festival in April 2019 and its European Premiere in Paris at the 17th Signes de Nuit International Film Festival in November 2019. It has been semifinalist for the Rome Independent Prisma Awards in the category of animated short.

A visual journey beyond the boundaries of time, Journey of Endless Time is an experimental production for giant screen which bridges the gap between art films and cinematography. Produced and created by visual artist Pietro Reviglio using painting, cosmological imagery and animation techniques, the film explores the concepts of time, existence, and eternity, and their meaning for humanity. The film is based on music by British composer Jonathan Wright and has no dialogs. This will make it accessible and equally enjoyable for audiences of all countries.

Pietro Reviglio has worked extensively with painting, photography and experimental filmmaking, showing his work in museums, galleries and festivals around the world. His work is present in the collections of the Brooklyn Museum (NYC), Albright-Knox Gallery (Buffalo), Columbia University (NYC), Tate Modern Artist’s Book Collection (London), among the others.  In this project he draws from his background in art and astrophysics (Columbia University, Ph.D., 2008) to investigate time and existence further.
