1. White latex
White latex is a kind of water-based glue, which is a thermoplastic adhesive formed by polymerization of vinyl acetate monomer under initiation. White latex is often used to bond paper products (such as wallpaper, etc.). Using water as a dispersant, it has excellent adhesion to wood, paper and fabrics. The cured adhesive layer is colorless and transparent, has strong toughness, and will not pollute the substrate. It is safe to use, is a non-combustible object, and is very convenient to clean. When using white latex, there are requirements for temperature, which should not be lower than 7°C or higher than 95°C. When the white latex is diluted, the temperature must be raised to above 30°C, then slowly inject water above 30°C, and stir until uniform. Do not use cold water below 10°C. Although white latex is safe, it should not be eaten or splashed in the eyes. If such an accident occurs, wash with plenty of water before proceeding to the next step.
2. Floor glue
When laying parquet, cork and composite floors, floor glue can be used to directly glue the floor to the ground.
3. Universal glue
The scientific name of universal glue is chloroprene rubber adhesive, which is widely used because of its excellent bonding ability. It is commonly used for self-adhesive or mutual adhesion of rubber, leather, fabric, cardboard, Composite board, wood board, plastic foam, ceramics, concrete, and metal, hence the name “universal glue”. The use of universal glue often goes through the process of “gluing-drying-bonding-pressing-storage”. When in use, you need to apply all-purpose glue on both sides of the butt plate and let it stand for 10-20 minutes.
