K2 Insurance Services Launches GoReady as Rebrand of April Travel Protection
April Travel Protection rebrands as GoReady, following the acquisition by K2 Insurance Group.
K2 purchased April Travel USA earlier in 2021 and has now rebranded the firm to become the travel sector of the niche insurance firm’s group of companies.

MIAMI – GoReady Insurance, a dedicated travel and event insurance company has been launched following the merger of April Travel Protection into the K2 Insurance group. K2 purchased April Travel USA earlier in 2021 and has now rebranded the firm to become the travel sector of the niche insurance firm’s group of companies.

GoReady Insurance will maintain its Florida-based staff and continue the successful programs previously provided by April Travel. Jason Schreier, a nearly 30-year veteran in the travel and insurance industry, stays on as Chief Executive Officer of the newly branded company. 

GoReady is independently owned and not part of an underwriting company as are many of the other travel insurance firms. This enables the company to choose which insurance underwriters to work with to get the best pricing for clients. The company also has a variety of plans to enable and ensure that clients only pay for the coverage they need.

The April Travel brand had been taking care of travelers for more than 33 years, providing insurance programs in Europe and Latin America since 1988. K2 purchased the U.S. division earlier this year and rebranded the company as GoReady Insurance to reflect the new expanded strength and focus of the firm.

All the same insurance innovative products that April had, including the now famous Stress Less Benefits, remain in the GoReady product line and now have the added benefit of K2’s expansive team and resources.
