iTreatMyself, LLC is a health & wellness company founded and helmed by Torri L. Fisher, a respected author, a passionate fighter against Alzheimer’s Disease, and a wellness advocate.

According to data sourced from ALZ.org, it is estimated that more than 6 million Americans are living with Alzheimer’s. These projected numbers for 2050 may rise by over 100%, ALZ scientists believe.

Social media outlets are swarmed with “#endAlz” posts as the world commemorates the annual Alzheimer’s Awareness Month. Torri L. Fisher, an American author devoted to supporting caregivers across the globe has helped the event blossom by promoting it on her website.

The “2022 Walk to End Alzheimer’s” begins at Soldier Field, 1410 Museum Campus Drive in Chicago, Illinois on the 8th of October 2022. According to the event’s hosts, “all funds raised through the event will be donated to improving the care, support, and research efforts of the Alzheimer’s Association.”

Torri’s support for “End Alzheimer’s” exceeds promoting the aforementioned event. After her mother was diagnosed with this condition, Torri L. Fisher realized that life as she knew it was about to drastically change. She had to adapt to the new circumstances, learn new skills, and rethink her approach as a caregiver.

During her Master’s program, Torri came across an abundance of research material regarding various forms of dementia and more specifics regarding Alzheimer’s. She studied this condition for years before venturing to pen her findings, opinions, and methods in streamlining her caregiving tasks.

The fruits of her work emerged in the form of “Forget Me Not: A Caregiver’s Guide to Early Onset Alzheimer’s Disease.” The book is available on Amazon in several formats, including Kindle, paperback, hardcover, and Audible, as well as in various local bookstores, such as Target, Barnes & Noble, Books A Million, and more.

“Forget Me Not” is an essential piece of work for caregivers, providing details about discovering Early Onset Alzheimer’s, setting the boundaries while still providing support, symptoms, and manifestations of Early Onset Alzheimer’s, and a variety of helpful tips.

“Forget Me Not” was met with tremendously positive feedback by hundreds of caregivers across all compass points. Both SPR and Independent Review of Books houses awarded it 4.5 of 5 stars, praising Torri’s innovative handling techniques, attention to detail, and spirit. Torri L. Fisher is a member of the Chicago Writers Association and has more than earned her position among the most respected authors on Alzheimer’s and dementia.

Aside from being an established author, Torri is also the owner of a growing health & fitness website called iTreatMyself. This blog features a range of inspiring posts about health, health management, brain health, food, and more.

Torri Fisher has vowed to continue raising awareness about Alzheimer’s and to provide support to those that need it the most. More information about iTreatMyself, LLC is available on the company’s official website.
